 Now to the Cathedral,
Eric sees his car and wishes he had it here to drive.
The Cathedral was built in the 13th and 14th centuries in response to
the Cathar heresy. The Bishop wanted to build a large church to show
the strength of the Catholic Church. The style is gothic, but is made
of red brick from the area, with the interior buttresses forming the
many chapels. |
